Thank you for riding New Castle Area Transit! 
The following guidance will help make your ride a more pleasant one. 

Be at the Bus Stop 5 minutes early. 

Have exact fare, the driver carries no change. 

Pay when boarding Bus. Deposit your own fare. 

Senior Citizens have proper identification out when boarding Bus. 

Only service animals are permitted on the Bus. 

Please do not smoke, eat or drink on the Bus. 

Do not use audio equipment without headphones. 

Be kind to your fellow riders. 

By all means say "hello" and "goodbye" to Your Friendly Driver, but please refrain from any unnecessary conversation with him. 

Please remain seated until bus comes to a complete stop.

Transfers will be given only at the Transfer Point.

HOLIDAY SERVICE Bus and complimentary paratransit service is not available on: 

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July holiday
  • Labor Day 
  • Thanksgiving Day 
  • Christmas Day 

ADA COMPLIMENTARY PARATRANSIT SERVICE All of the New Castle Area Transit Authority buses are fully accessible. If, for some, reason you are unable to get to the bus stop and are ADA certified call the NCATA for more information on how to get a ride on the complementary paratransit service or on how to apply for ADA certifcation. 

 

LOST AND FOUND If you believe you left something on the Bus call the NCATA office at (724) 654-3130.
